01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Paris’s vibrant 15th arrondissement, Le Commerce Café offers an inviting brasserie-bistro experience with a delightful twist of pizza offerings. This charming spot at 80 Rue du Commerce perfectly blends classic French cuisine with casual comfort, making it an essential stop for anyone craving authentic Parisian flavors in a warm, unpretentious setting.

From the moment you step inside, the cozy, authentically Parisian atmosphere embraces you—a feeling echoed by several visitors who praise the friendly and attentive staff, especially Momo, whose warm hospitality makes guests feel like regulars from the very first visit. Whether you choose a seat indoors surrounded by rustic charm or prefer dining alfresco to soak up the Parisian street scene, Le Commerce Café creates the perfect backdrop for savoring your meal.

The cuisine is truly the star here, with a focus on time-honored French dishes crafted with depth and finesse. Don’t miss the Confit de Canard, which consistently receives rave reviews for its impeccable seasoning and rich demi-glace that beautifully complements the tender duck. Another highlight is the umami-rich pâté, bursting with traditional flavors that evoke the very essence of French charcuterie.

For a fresh, lighter option, the Caesar Salad stands out, offering crisp greens paired with perfectly prepared chicken. If you're in the mood for something heartier, the mushroom-studded steak is a satisfying choice, cooked to tender perfection and layered with earthy flavors. And while the pizza here boasts great flavor, you might find the texture a little less crisp than expected—still a pleasant addition to the diverse menu.

Sweet tooths will appreciate their take on classic French desserts, particularly the profiteroles drenched in indulgently dark chocolate sauce—a treat for both kids and adults alike. Though some found the Crème Brûlée a bit lighter and less rich than traditional versions, it remains a comforting conclusion to any meal.

What many guests cherish most is the authenticity and approachability of Le Commerce Café. Your first bite of a flaky, freshly baked croissant here, as one visitor fondly recalls, is nothing short of a revelation—a perfect introduction to Parisian culinary delights. Coupled with the multilingual, helpful service, it’s no surprise that many return day after day during their stay in the city.

Whether you’re a first-time visitor eager to discover genuine Parisian flavors or a local seeking a dependable neighborhood gem, Le Commerce Café promises a memorable dining experience filled with rich tastes, heartfelt service, and the unmistakable charm of Paris.

This was the very first café we visited in Paris, and it couldn’t have been a better start! We tried our first French croissant here, and it was absolutely perfect — fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and authentically Parisian. Another pleasant surprise was that the staff spoke English, which made the whole experience easy and very welcoming. A wonderful place to begin discovering Paris!

Great French dishes. Confit de canard not to be missed: perfectly seasoned duck paired with a deep Demiglace. The pate is so full of umami. The profiteroles have such a dark chocolate sauce that endear them to kids and parents alike. Cocktails are second to none

Cesar salad was nice, the burger was not good, my son commented that it would be better to go to some fast food. The stake with mushrooms was very good. At theend we ordered crème brûlée…it one of my favourite dessert but i was disappointed badly. Usually the creme is yellow and here it was white… it missed the richness tha usually has. So it was ok, but could be better. Staff was ok. He forgot our water but brought it on request.

Came here on an evening, the restaurant was behind my hotel. The hostess was a female and she was so lovely and friendly. She was very patient and full is smiles, this made us really happy. Large menu with lots of seating outside and inside. The atmosphere was lovely, I stayed inside the restaurant and was very comfortable, the food was amazing and we really enjoyed the food and drinks but more importantly we enjoyed our hostess, she was amazing. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area to come here, day time or evening. Thank you x
